Host or Hostess

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor.
• Provide menus, answer questions, and offer basic outlet and menu information to assist guests.
• Assign guests to tables based on seating charts, server rotations, and guest preferences.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly set dining and service areas throughout the shift.
• Receive, record, and manage guest reservations and waitlists accurately.
• Communicate guest needs, special requests, and seating updates to servers and leadership.
• Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address concerns promptly.
• Support team members by assisting with coverage, communication, and guest flow.
• Follow all company policies, grooming standards, and service procedures.
• Perform additional duties or special assignments as required.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and guest service skills.
• A high school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Ability to read, write, and understand simple instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with guests and team members.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
