About the role

The Host-Cashier is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing seating. This role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Creates a welcoming atmosphere and greets guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Manage waitlists or reservations and seating assignments to ensure a smooth service flow.
• Provide menus and be informative to guests.
• Communicate with servers and management regarding table availability and guest needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the host stand and entrance area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
• Multitasking and organization to manage reservations, waitlists, and seating flow.
• Problem-solving to handle guest concerns, special requests, and unexpected issues with ease.

Qualifications

• No certificate(s) or license(s) required.

• Regularly walks and stands.
• Occasionally does computer work.
• Seldom/Never sits or lifts up to 50 lbs.
