About the Role

Join our team at Milk & Honey, a vibrant New Orleans themed Southern Brunch destination. As a Host, you'll be the face of our establishment, greeting guests with genuine hospitality and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience from the moment they walk through our doors. Your friendly nature and exceptional customer service skills will set the tone for our guests' visit.

Responsibilities

• Create a memorable first impression by warmly welcoming guests with a radiant smile and genuine enthusiasm.
• Manage the flow of the restaurant, expertly coordinating seating arrangements to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
• Engage guests with exceptional communication skills, providing helpful information about our menu and specials.
• Master the art of multitasking as you gracefully handle guest inquiries, phone calls, and reservation bookings with efficiency and poise.
• Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure timely seating and smooth transitions between guests, optimizing our restaurant's efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Embrace the role of an ambassador of hospitality, ensuring each guest feels valued and receives personalized attention throughout their visit.

Requirements

• Experience in high volume, upscale casual dining or an equivalent service environment preferred.
• Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours).
• Lift and carry up to 20 lbs (e.g., menus, high chairs, booster seats).
• Reach, bend, and stoop occasionally.
• Use hands and arms to operate reservation systems and phones.
• Clear verbal communication skills and ability to interact with guests in a busy environment.
• Ability to remain calm and composed while multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
