Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with guests, providing personalized service and anticipating their needs.
• Maintain and refine service standards, ensuring compliance with hotel and local laws.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, preparing for health department and Ecosure inspections.
• Perform tasks such as answering phones, managing reservations, greeting guests, seating guests, explaining restaurant concepts, and performing side work.
• Adhere to proper trash procedures, maintaining knowledge of all food and beverage menu items, reporting housekeeping and maintenance needs, and ensuring high-quality table sets.
• Respond to guests' requests promptly and positively, fostering a memorable experience.
• Contribute to restaurant sanitation and service timing, ensuring prompt delivery and quality control.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings, contribute to the cleanliness and organization of restaurant spaces, and execute Restaurant Event Orders.
• Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among co-workers, treating them fairly and equitably.
• Respond swiftly and effectively in emergencies, ensuring a safe working and guest environment.
• Attend required department trainings and meetings.

Qualifications

• Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations and a strong understanding of the hospitality industry.
• A minimum of relevant host experience in a fine dining restaurant is preferred.
• Highly developed customer service skills, including a friendly approachable demeanor and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for providing warm, engaging, and personalized service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
• Positive and professional demeanor, even under stress.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Clear, concise communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
• Computer literacy, including familiarity with Payroll systems, Micros, and POS systems.
