About the role

• Foster a fun, welcoming environment for guests and coworkers.
• Act as a gracious host, promote a positive community presence, and participate in company-sponsored events.
• Provide fast, friendly, and professional customer service to restaurant guests and staff.
• Deliver personalized service, using guests’ names during interactions.
• Greet and seat guests according to rotation requirements, monitor table availability, and maintain seating/reservation documentation.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including the cashiering station, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Assist wait staff and bus persons with duties such as refilling drinks, pre-busing, and attending to guest needs.
• Operate a cash register/POS system, handle transactions accurately, and account for all sales according to financial controls.
• Complete assigned closing duties at the end of each shift.
• Perform any reasonable job duty requested by management.
• Promote current casino events, provide directions, and encourage guests to return.

Requirements

• Outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude with a passion for hosting others.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.
• Ability to respond to visual and oral cues.
• Comfortable working in constricting areas, noisy environments, and under bright lights.
• Physically mobile with the ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs., and perform duties involving reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, and balancing in confined spaces.

Pay

Starting salary: $17.50 per hour.
