Schedule

• Part-time
• Monday through Sunday, hours may vary
• Weekend and holiday availability is required

Pay

• Pay range: $16.00 per hour to $17.00 per hour
• Internal employee referral bonus available

Responsibilities

• Promptly and warmly greet and direct guests to their tables based on availability or desired seating arrangements
• Create an overall enjoyable dining experience and promote a safe, clean, and neat environment for guests and associates
• Exhibit exceptional communication skills, flexibility, patience, and an interest in people
• Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information shared by guests
• Supervise food-service associates in the dining room to ensure proper customer service, food handling, and sanitation procedures are followed
• Help train new food-service team members
• Supervise the closing of the assigned dining room, ensuring side work and station setup are properly completed
• Demonstrate knowledge of emergency safety procedures and help evacuate guests to safety in the event of fire or other emergencies
• Assist with service, including occasional bussing and food service, while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
• Operate equipment, including but not limited to fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
• Work with staff from other departments to perform job duties during special events or functions
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• No previous experience is required; willing to train
