Host/Hostess (Part-Time)

About the role

We’re looking for a Host who instills confidence, trust, and respect in those around you, encourages success, and builds relationships. In this role, you’ll help us become the most loved brand in family travel by delivering warm, welcoming experiences to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome guests, seat them, and bid a fond farewell while inviting them for a return visit.
• Use organizational skills to manage a waitlist, assess kitchen and server performance, and determine guest seating.
• Ensure large groups’ needs are met, including accommodations for small children, individuals with disabilities, or food allergies.
• Inspect and maintain the arrival area, doors, windows, menu covers, and inserts.
• Multitask in a high-volume, high-demand work environment.
• Understand dining room operations and menu offerings.
• Liaise with management regarding guest flow, special requests, occasions, and customer feedback.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
• Superior guest relations skills and the ability to answer guest inquiries about the Resort.
• Proper phone etiquette to take to-go orders.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to clearly speak, write, and understand the English language.
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume, high-demand work environment.
• Ability to learn and understand dining room and menu offerings.
