Host/Hostess - Part-Time

Overview

Graduate by Hilton Princeton is seeking a polished, welcoming, and organized Host/Hostess to serve as the first point of contact for our restaurant guests. This role is responsible for creating a warm first impression, managing reservations and seating flow, and ensuring an exceptional guest experience from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and other beverages according to brand standards
• Greet guests warmly and provide knowledgeable recommendations
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, service areas, and equipment
• Restock supplies including cups, lids, syrups, pastries, and retail items
• Monitor product quality and presentation to ensure consistency
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible service standards
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations

Qualifications

• Previous barista or food & beverage experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of espresso preparation and coffee beverages a plus
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail
• Flexible availability, including mornings, weekends, and holidays
