Host-Hostess - House of Blues - House of Blues - Boston

We’re looking for an artist in disguise, a jack-of-all-trades, or better yet, a Host/Hostess! That someone special will be the first impression our customers have and the lasting impression of customer service they leave with. In this role all about social connection, a smile and sincere greeting goes a long way. If you’re organized, empathetic, and work efficiently, this is the job for you. You’ll help greet and seat guests, provide general assistance, and resolve issues to ensure our customers leave happily.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests as they arrive and seats them, ensuring optimal use of tables
• Accommodates and arranges any special needs or requests for diners
• Maintains the appearance and cleanliness of the front-of-house environment
• Escalates any guest needs or concerns as necessary
• Works closely with kitchen staff and servers to optimize communication and ensure efficient operations
• Maintains excellent guest service and a positive demeanor towards guests, clients, and co-workers
• Adapts to guest needs and adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures, including proper food safety and sanitation

Requirements

• Previous host/hostess or food service experience preferred
• Demonstrates excellent guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Flexible schedule to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Enjoys working in a lively environment
• Must be able to obtain food safety certification
• May require physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing
• May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $16.50 to $20.00.
