As the Host at Baraboo Supper Club (located in Hotel Renegade), you’ll be the first impression guests receive. Your role is key to ensuring every guest leaves with a lasting impression. You’ll greet customers, manage seating, assist with to-go orders, and maintain the dining room to uphold our high standards of hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile, eye contact, and a welcoming attitude
• Manage seating arrangements and timing for tables
• Understand server patterns to provide quality customer service
• Prepare the dining room by setting tables with clean condiments and menus
• Use downtime to check on guests, refill waters, and address restaurant needs
• Ensure carry-out orders are properly rung in and packaged
• Leave a positive impression to encourage repeat visits and word-of-mouth promotion

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer and math skills (able to add, subtract, and count change)
• Legible handwriting
• Strong customer service and oral communication skills
• Aged 16 years or older
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, and crouch for extended periods
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• U.S. work authorization (required)
