This team member greets guests upon arrival, manages reservations and waitlists, and coordinates seating to ensure an efficient flow of service. The role includes answering inquiries, guiding guests through the restaurant, and collaborating closely with serving and management teams to support a welcoming and organized environment. Daily responsibilities also involve maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the entrance and host stand, communicating guest needs, and upholding JOEY’s standards of genuine warmth and care. This position requires a consistent presence on the floor, engaging with guests and contributing to a positive, memorable dining experience.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.Candidates should possess Training and Sales abilities to support team development and contribute to guest engagement and upselling opportunities.Candidates should possess knowledge of Food & Beverage to accurately represent menu offerings and assist guests with basic questions.Reliability in attendance and punctuality, with the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Previous experience in hospitality, retail, or customer-facing roles is an asset but not required.
