Host/Hostess - Full Time
Full time (40 hours per week), day shift (7am - 3:30pm, including every other weekend).
About the role
To provide a high-quality dining experience to patients which meets their nutritional requirements and service expectations. The Host/Hostess acts as the liaison between patients and food service and nutrition through daily patient interactions and coordinating patient nutritional needs between nursing units, dieticians, and kitchen staff. The Host/Hostess assists patients with room service when appropriate and delivers meal trays to assigned patients.
Requirements
- Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly and proficiently
- GED/High School Diploma (preferred)
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in a customer service position
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in a food service establishment
- Working knowledge of a PC/Microsoft Windows
- Participates in orientation and continuing education
- Updates and maintains knowledge and skills related to specific areas of expertise

Work Environment
- Industrial and clinical setting – Exposure Class I or II
- Light to medium work: standing, walking, sitting, pushing, pulling
Pay
$16.20 - $23.50 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary based on location.
