Host/Hostess

Harrison Meadows Country Club, located in Harrison, NY, is seeking a driven seasonal part-time Host/Hostess to create a warm, welcoming, and professional first impression for members and guests.

About the role

As part of Troon, you’ll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management. The Host/Hostess manages the greeting and seating process, maintains an accurate seating rotation, assists with reservations and guest requests, and supports the restaurant team in providing an exceptional country club dining experience. The ideal candidate is personable, polished, organized, dependable, and able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, professional first impression
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and table assignments using the POS or reservation system
• Escort guests to tables and present menus in a timely manner
• Maintain an accurate seating chart to ensure balanced service among servers
• Monitor dining room activity and communicate wait times effectively
• Answer phones, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area
• Coordinate with servers, managers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Handle guest concerns with professionalism and escalate issues when necessary
• Thank guests as they depart and invite them to return

Pay

$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
