About the Role

Bourbon Steak, Chef Michael Mina’s modern take on the classic American steakhouse, is seeking a team member to join our front-of-house operations. This role is essential in creating a welcoming and memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size, and seat them at clean, available tables.
• Assist guests by pulling out chairs and providing current menus.
• Guide guests through the dining rooms and offer assistance as needed.
• Arrange and organize seating, including accommodations for groups with special needs.
• Ensure each place setting is complete with napkins, clean silverware, and other standard items.
• Check and maintain menus to ensure they are current, clean, and wrinkle-free.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, following clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, and guest safety.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and report any accidents or unsafe conditions.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance, uphold confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and colleagues, including proper telephone etiquette.
• Support the team in achieving common goals and respond appropriately to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and expectations.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, sitting, walking, and lifting objects up to 10 pounds.
• Complete other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification needed.

Pay

$31.27/hr. to $36.79/hr.
