Hours: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 4 pm–8 pm and Sunday 11 am–3 pm.

Responsibilities
- Greet and seat residents and guests in a professional, courteous manner
- Supervise the activities of service staff in the dining room to ensure proper service and sanitation procedures are followed
- Maintain a professional management approach in the training and supervision of staff, following established procedures
- Assist in training new service employees on proper dining room etiquette
- Handle all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards
- Perform and assist with pouring/providing beverages and other service and bussing functions as necessary
- Monitor seating flow, dining room services, and food availability to ensure prompt and courteous service
- Confer with the Manager on Duty on any unusual problems or requests
- Supervise the closing of the Main Dining Room
- Oversee and assist with side work including cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
- Occasionally act as supervisor to close the department for the shift
- Assume responsibility for self-safety and that of the immediate work environment
- Attend annual in-service on body mechanics, right-to-know laws, and fire and safety
- Other duties as needed
Requirements
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills (via phone and in-person)
- Previous work experience as a Host/Hostess or Waiter/Waitress (preferred)
- Understanding of fine dining etiquette (preferred)
- Teamwork and professionalism with a positive attitude
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Serve Safe Certified (preferred)
