About the role
The Host position at Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa is a key role in ensuring a successful operation. This individual greets guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant area, monitors open dining sections, estimates wait times, ensures guest needs are met, answers the telephone, books reservations, and moves tables to accommodate large parties.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant area
- Monitor the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables
- Estimate wait times for guests and monitor the guest waiting list
- Ensure the needs of guests are met while they are waiting
- Answer the telephone, book reservations, and move tables together to accommodate large parties
Requirements

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
