Your Role

The Host at Beercode, located in the San Antonio International Airport, plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming and professional environment for guests.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Seating of guests
• Performing a variety of other tasks within the restaurant
• Create and deliver first-class experiences for the traveling public
• Engage with guests in a friendly, welcoming, and professional manner
• Provide accurate wait time and monitor waiting lists
• Answer guest questions using knowledge of the menu
• Coordinate with Front of House staff regarding available seating
• Process to-go orders quickly and efficiently in the point-of-sale system, handling cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately
• Maintain store appearance with respect to merchandising standards
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines; comply with all applicable laws
• Respond appropriately to customer concerns
• Ensure a clean, sanitized, and well-stocked host stand
• Assist servers and food runners, as needed
• Must be able to maneuver heavy trays of food

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills
• Knowledge of the menu and ability to answer guest questions

• Physical ability to move and lift heavy trays of food
