The Host/Hostess manages guest seating, reservations, and first impressions, creating a welcoming environment for every guest. This role requires excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and manage seating assignments efficiently. Maintain accurate reservation records and waitlist management. Communicate guest needs and wait times to servers and management. Coordinate with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth flow of service. Provide guests with menus and information about specials or promotions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area. Assist with answering phones, reservations, and guest inquiries. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous hosting or customer service experience preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. Must be available full-time, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Standing and walking for extended periods. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs (e.g., menus, seating equipment). Work Environment Restaurant entrance, lobby, and seating areas with high guest interaction. Grooming Standards Maintain professional attire, neat appearance, and friendly demeanor. Salary Description 22/hr
