About the role

As a Host/Hostess at Marriott Vacations Worldwide (MVW), you will assist in providing our Owners/guests with experiences and events to create memorable vacation memories in a supportive, friendly, and beautiful work environment.

Responsibilities

• Seat guests by finding clean, available tables; pull out chairs; place clean/current menus in front of guests
• Move and arrange tables, chairs, and settings; organize seating for groups with special needs with minimal disturbance to other guests
• Greet guests and determine the number in their party
• Ensure place settings are appropriate, including napkins, clean silverware, and standard place-setting items
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of guests
• Welcome and greet guests, anticipate and address their needs
• Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly
• Contribute to team goals
• Follow company policies and safety procedures

Requirements

• Available to work various shifts, holidays, and both weekend days
• Able to reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
• Able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time
• Lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing up to 10 lbs without assistance
• Position may require background and drug screening contingent on company policy
