Host/Hostess

About the role

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and energetic Host / Hostess to join our team. As the first and last point of contact for our guests, hosts play a critical role in setting the tone for the dining experience. The ideal candidate is welcoming, professional, and able to manage a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a welcoming first impression of JINYA
• Manage the waitlist and accurately quote wait times
• Escort guests to their tables while maintaining proper table rotation
• Communicate effectively with servers and management to ensure smooth service
• Answer phone calls and assist guests with general questions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entry area
• Assist with guest flow during peak service hours

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Strong teamwork and guest service mindset
• Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not required

Pay

From $10.00-$12.00 per hour + tip-out from servers, bartenders & To-Gos
