Responsibilities
- Communicate with host/hostesses, bussers, servers, bartenders, and management to ensure tables are updated in the seating system and ready for guests
- Maintain the seating system and waitlist
- Answer the phone and provide exceptional service for takeout guests
- Pre-bus tables in the dining room when all dirty tables are clean
- Bus and clean tables inside the restaurant, on the patio, and assist with bar top cleaning as needed
- Replace sanitizer in spray bottles and buckets to ensure safety and sanitation
- Clean, disinfect, and sanitize work areas before, during, and after shifts
- Assist with stocking glassware, water bottles, plate ware, silverware, and dishes
- Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects
- Participate in the daily restaurant maintenance program
Requirements
- Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow
- Friendly and upbeat personality
- Able to place items on high and low shelves
- Reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow directions accurately
- Ability to work fast, safely, and efficiently for up to 10 hours per day
- Attention to detail
- Mobility required throughout the entire shift
- Ability to carry bus tubs full of dishes and miscellaneous items throughout the restaurant
- Adequate vision to discern cleanliness and operate a touchscreen
Physical Demands
- Regularly navigate throughout the restaurant and communicate with guests
- Move and grasp items up to five pounds
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Bend and stoop
- Respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent dangers
