Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and inviting manner.
• Engage in friendly conversation as you seat guests.
• Manage the restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations.
• Clear, clean, and reset tables to ensure they are ready for the next guest.
• Sincerely thank guests as they leave and invite them to return.
• Complete other tasks requested or required by the manager on duty.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months of customer service, retail sales, or food service experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.
• Ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers in English.
• Flexible schedule—ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Demonstrated high level of organization, cleanliness, and a sense of urgency.
• Basic knowledge of how to operate a computer/tablet.
