Creative Mexican fare, tequila-centric cocktails & first-class design elements will pay tribute to the venue – an iconic, 19th century Spanish Colonial Revival building with panoramic views of the bayfront & Bridge of Lions.

About the Role

We are NOW HIRING HOSTS/HOSTESSES. You’ll become part of a team that has successfully owned & operated high-volume restaurants in St. Augustine for over 20 years (Harry’s Seafood Bar & Grille, Salt Life Food Shack).

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner
• Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests
• Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set guest expectations
• Clearing, cleaning and resetting tables to ensure they are ready for the next guest
• Sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return
• Completing other tasks requested/required by the manager on duty

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED preferred
• A minimum of 6 months of customer service, retail sales, or food service experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers in English
• A flexible schedule - ability to work days, nights, weekends & holidays
• Demonstrating a high level of organization, cleanliness and a sense-of-urgency
• Basic knowledge of how to operate a computer/tablet
