Host/Hostess

About the role

Apart from delivering exceptional dining experiences, Hosts/Hostesses will also manage the restaurant's waiting list and clear, clean, and reset tables.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests in a friendly and inviting manner
• Engage in friendly conversation to seat guests promptly
• Introduce guests to their server
• Manage the restaurant's waiting list to set accurate guest expectations
• Clear, clean, and reset tables to ensure they are ready for the next guest
• Sincerely thank guests as they leave and invite them to return

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 6 months of customer service, retail sales, or food service experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
• Fluency in speaking, reading, and comprehending English is essential
