About the Club
Baltimore Country Club was founded in 1898 and quickly became a success, with 600 members enjoying its 150-acre facility less than five miles from downtown Baltimore. Just one year after opening, the Club hosted the fifth United States Open Championship, gaining immediate recognition in the golf world. Today, the Club has over 3,300 members across two campuses and is widely recognized as one of the top 50 country clubs in the nation and top 100 in the world. We prioritize doing what is right, not what is easy.
About the Role
A Host/Hostess is responsible for interacting closely with members and guests to create a memorable dining experience. This position requires effective communication, an outgoing personality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests with a smile and show them to their tables.
- Serve as the first and last point of contact for members and guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
- Embody the Club’s core value, "Great People Make Favorite Places," in every interaction.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal communication and organization skills.
- Professional appearance and attitude with a willingness to learn.
- Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Restaurant and food service experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
- Minimum hiring age is 16 years old.
- Must be a team player.
