Host - Hard Truth Restaurant (Nashville, IN)

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly, professional, and energetic attitude
• Manage reservations and seating assignments using our reservation system
• Maintain an organized host stand and front-of-house area
• Provide accurate wait times and manage guest expectations during peak hours
• Escort guests to tables, present menus, and highlight specials or promotions
• Aid with special requests, including accessibility needs, high chairs, and preferred seating
• Answer guest questions, resolve concerns, and communicate issues to management
• Cook up with servers and front-of-house staff to maintain smooth guest flow
• Maintain strong menu and beverage knowledge to assist guests
• Coordinate with servers and front-of-house staff to manage waitlist during busy periods and keep guests informed
• Support cleanliness and presentation standards throughout the front-of-house
• Thank guests upon departure and gather feedback to enhance the guest experience
