Host/Cashier - Steakhouse

Responsibilities

• Greets guests in a friendly, courteous manner and arranges for seating
• Maintains an atmosphere that encourages guests to choose Hard Rock Casino for gaming entertainment
• Builds and retains guest relations and serves as a mentor to team members
• Provides information on all aspects of Hard Rock Casino services and facilities to guests
• Quotes accurate waiting times and handles guest waiting lists or reservations
• Greets guests in front-of-house areas and answers inquiries before completing requests
• May provide clean china, silverware and glassware upon request from customers
• May set up tables with dishes, linen, flatware, etc.
• Attends to customer’s needs/requests, such as refilling beverages, condiments
• Assists wait staff with tray service as needed
• Attends and participates in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned

Qualifications

• Two months of on-the-job training or related cashier/host experience
• Knowledge of excellent customer service skills
• Ability to present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and time schedules
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests
• Ability to restock needed materials and retrieve dropped items
