Key Responsibilities
- Provide fast, friendly, and professional service to guests and team members.
- Warmly greet and welcome each guest as they enter the restaurant.
- Escort guests to their tables while engaging in friendly conversation and building rapport.
- Accommodate guest seating preferences whenever possible, including table or booth requests.
- Manage guest seating to ensure fair rotation between service stations.
- Promote current specials and restaurant promotions with enthusiasm.
- Communicate important guest information to service staff and management (special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries).
- Relay guest feedback, compliments, or concerns to management in a timely manner.
- Monitor restaurant activity and adjust seating plans based on business levels.
- Identify and communicate situations that may require management support.
- Thank guests sincerely and invite them to return as they leave.
- Answer phones.
- Support the team with additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must have excellent customer services skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, with variable overtime.
- Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondary smoke, high noise levels, bright lights, and dust.
