Host Busser

About the role
This is a part-time, non-exempt position. Hours may vary weekly and schedules are not set or guaranteed. Weekend availability is required.
Responsibilities
- Be the face of Pacific Catch: engage with Guests, invite them in, seat them, introduce the menu, and answer the phone
- Provide top-notch hospitality in a fast-paced environment
- Respond to questions—know where to find information if unknown
- Maintain a positive attitude and work well under pressure with all restaurant Team Members
- Be adaptable, flexible, and able to manage a heavy workload while prioritizing and remembering Guest requests
- Embrace all Pacific Catch’s Core Values, Hospitality Standards, and Team Member Standards
- Operate a POS system
- Maintain table waitlist
- Assist with beverage service during peak seating times
- Accurately handle cash and all financial transactions
- Clear, clean, set, and re-set tables with complete place settings (silverware, glasses, dishes, and napkins) as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining areas and common areas (tables, counters, equipment, restrooms, and floors)
- Exercise care with all restaurant equipment, dishes, silverware, and glasses to ensure minimum breakage
- During downtime, proactively assist other Team Members or as requested by Leaders
- Notify Leadership team of any comments, suggestions, or complaints from Guests

Requirements
- High school education is required; Hospitality or other degrees are a plus
- Minimum 1-year experience in the restaurant/customer service industry preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 5 hours in length
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
Pay
$19.61 per hour
