Turfway Park Racing & Gaming is a gaming facility in Florence, Kentucky, featuring 850 state-of-the-art HRM games, a simulcast area with VIP section, event center, live horse racing, restaurants, and bars.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they enter and manage waiting lists as necessary.
• Provide guests with menus and answer initial questions.
• Seat guests at tables or in waiting areas, assigning tables based on preference and server rotation.
• Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service.
• Respond to complaints and help resolve them.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and address guest questions.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Bourbon and Brew menu.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain a KHRC License.
• Weekend and evening availability is required.

Skills

• Strong customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of food and beverage menus, particularly Bourbon and Brew.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Ability to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to talk and hear.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
• Required to circulate throughout assigned areas, including smoking areas, to actively observe guests and machines.
