As a key member of the Auberge team, this role is responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive guest experience from arrival to departure. The Host manages guest flow, supports restaurant operations, and serves as the first and last point of contact for guests. Greet guests warmly with a professional and engaging demeanor upon arrivalProvide courteous service while managing guest check-ins, waitlists, and seatingEscort guests to tables and ensure a smooth and welcoming transition into serviceAnswer phones, manage reservations, and maintain accurate records in reservation systemsTake in-room dining orders when applicable and ensure proper communication with the teamCoordinate with restaurant and/or pool staff to optimize seating and guest flowAssist in preparing station charts, assigning sections, and supporting table setup organizationMaintain accurate wait times and communicate updates clearly to guestsMonitor and update guest profiles, including VIP arrivals and special requestsEnsure menus and wine lists are clean, updated, and well-stocked at all timesMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of the host stand and surrounding areasResolve guest concerns or complaints promptly to ensure satisfactionMaintain knowledge of hotel services and local attractions to assist guest inquiries Qualifications Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant hosting, or guest services preferredStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a guest-first mindsetAble to remain calm, organized, and professional in high-pressure situationsProficiency with reservation systems (e.g., OpenTable) and basic computer skillsStrong multitasking and problem-solving abilitiesFlexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysHigh school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or related field preferredKnowledge of luxury service standards and etiquette is a plusAble to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment Additional Information About Auberge Collection Auberge Collection is a portfolio of extraordinary hotels, resorts, residences and private clubs.
