About The Role

The Seaport Entertainment Group is seeking a Host to join the team at The Fulton! Reporting directly to the General Manager, this role is vital in ensuring guests are welcomed and seated promptly.

• Welcome and greet guests upon arrival
• Manage the waitlist efficiently
• Escort guests to their designated tables
• Handle reservations, confirm bookings, and maintain an organized system
• Communicate with the restaurant staff to coordinate seating arrangements
• Aid guests with inquiries, provide information about the menu, and offer guidance on restaurant policies
• Keep the host/hostess station and waiting area tidy
• Address guest concerns or issues with professionalism and tact
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as answering phones, managing reservations, and coordinating with servers
• Promote special events, menu items, or promotions to guests
• Work collaboratively with the serving staff, kitchen team, and management to facilitate a smooth and efficient dining service

About You

• 1+ year of host experience in a fine dining, high volume setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and manage waitlist dynamics effectively
• Positive and friendly attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Familiarity with reservation systems and basic restaurant operations is a plus
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Professional appearance and demeanor

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10 – 30 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50 pounds on a regular (or occasional basis)
• Ability to stand for prolong periods of time

Compensation

$18 – $24 per hour
