About the role

Cull & Pistol Oyster Bar is a Michelin-acclaimed restaurant at Chelsea Market. We've been serving our community since 1974, known for our exceptional oysters and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greets and seats guests
• Confirms reservations in the Resy system
• Anticipates and accommodates guest needs
• Serves as a liaison between Front of House and Back of House teams
• Manages wait lists and table turns through the Resy system
• Maintains the entrance area's cleanliness and orderliness
• Performs side-work as directed
• Supports hospitality and operations as needed

Requirements

• Previous host experience (1+ years')
• Knowledge of Resy or similar reservation platform
• Warm and welcoming demeanor
• Ability to remain professional and calm under pressure
• Exceptional time management and communication skills
• Evening & Weekend availability is mandatory

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable about Cull & Pistol, Lobster Place, and their food and beverage selections
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests
• Proficient in managing multiple priorities in a busy environment
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 15 lbs
• Tolerance for heat, cold, and noisy environments

Pay

Hourly Rate: $17/hour (plus $10-$15/hour in tips)

Schedule

This is an FLSA non-exempt hourly position on the restaurant floor. Evening & Weekend availability is mandatory.
