About the role
As a Restaurant Host/Hostess at LoLa 42 in Seaport Boston, you will be the first point of contact for guests. Your warm greeting and attentive service will set the tone for their dining experience. You will manage reservations, seat guests, and ensure their needs are met throughout their visit, creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Manage reservations, including taking bookings over the phone and through online platforms.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and in the waiting area.
- Monitor the flow of guests throughout the dining area and make adjustments as needed to ensure efficient seating.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
Requirements
- At least one year of hosting experience.
- Availability for various shifts, including day, evening, night, and weekends.
- Must be available to work every weekend, with additional weekdays as needed.
Pay
$20 per hour, supplemented by tips.
