Responsibilities

• Check in all employees and highlight on the OpenTable system.
• Answer the phone, take reservations, and take takeout orders.
• Ensure menus are clean and organized.
• Greet, check in, and seat guests.
• Print any special chits from OpenTable with instructions and hand them to servers.
• Review all OpenTable reservations and map out the plan for the shift.
• Utilize OpenTable to capture important information about guests.
• Work with the manager on the floor to ensure proper wait times.
• Ensure restrooms and the host stand are clean, stocked, and organized.
• Interact with guests to ensure a positive dining experience.

Skills

• Excellent verbal communication with management, servers, team members, and guests.
• Basic reading skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to visually scan the restaurant for clean, unoccupied tables.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.
• Strong organization and multitasking abilities.

Schedule

This hourly position operates seven days a week; hours start as early as 9 AM and can extend to as late as 2 AM, varying according to business needs.

Pay

Hourly paid position.
