Responsibilities

• Check in all employees and highlight reservations on the Open Table system.
• Answer the phone, take reservations, and take takeout orders.
• Ensure menus are clean and organized.
• Greet, check in, and seat guests.
• Print special chits from Open Table with instructions and hand off to servers upon their check-in.
• Review all Open Table reservations and map out the plan for the shift.
• Utilize Open Table to capture important guest information.
• Work with the manager on the floor to ensure proper wait times.
• Ensure restrooms and the host stand are clean, stocked, and organized.
• Interact with guests to ensure a positive dining experience.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills (verbal interaction with management, servers, team members, and guests).
• Basic reading and computer skills.
• Ability to visually scan the restaurant for clean, unoccupied tables.
• Ability to work well with others and independently.
• Ability to organize and multitask.

Pay

$13.50 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule

This is an hourly paid position. Days and hours of work vary according to business hours and job requirements. Business operates seven days a week, including holidays, with hours starting as early as 9 AM and ending as late as 10 PM.
