About the role

The role of a Host is to delight our guests, be the face of the company, and ensure a smooth dining experience from the time someone walks into the restaurant to the time they leave.

• Greet guests, escort them to their tables, and manage wait-times
• Answer phones and take reservations
• Operate and troubleshoot reservation software
• Stay current on menu options, specialties, and menu deviations

Responsibilities

• Welcome all guests with a genuine and delightful smile
• Interact with guests as they arrive and leave the restaurant to ensure a positive dining experience
• Use the guest’s name whenever possible
• Identify special occasions and extend wishes
• Be a team player: support and be supported by your co-workers
• Work well with employees and managers

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, multi-tasking, and organization skills in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and professional maturity
• Host experience in fine dining preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
