About the role
Join the host team at Cork & Pig Tavern and be the first person to provide a warm, friendly welcome to every guest. Our hosts are essential in creating a positive first impression, assisting with reservations, managing seating, handling phone orders, and maintaining a clean dining environment.
You’ll work alongside an unparalleled kitchen staff known for execution, consistency, and teamwork, as well as a front-of-house team dedicated to delivering a phenomenal guest experience in a supportive, team-oriented environment. At Cork & Pig Tavern, you’ll take pride in representing a well-renowned culinary program featuring elevated cuisine and a curated selection of cocktails, wine, and craft beer.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, friendly demeanor
- Assist in organizing reservations and managing rotational seating
- Answer phones and take to-go orders
- Assist in cleaning and resetting tables
Requirements
- Dependable, enthusiastic, and focused with prior hosting or customer service experience
- Current food handler license (required at time of interview)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, upscale casual fine-dining environment
Training & Growth
Expect approximately one week of training upon hire. Merit raises are available based on performance, offering opportunities for advancement in a truly unique and team-minded workplace.
