Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a timely and efficient manner
• Answer questions regarding food preparation and ingredients
• Ensure guests are satisfied and extend a friendly farewell inviting them back
• Assist guests when on a waiting list
• Coordinate the flow of seating throughout the shift while maintaining the waiting list
• Suggestively sell all menu items
• Observe guests and respond to any additional needs
• Demonstrate excitement and enthusiasm
• Follow health and safety guidelines

Qualifications

• Experience in the restaurant industry
• High energy to keep up with the pace of the restaurant and the team
• Dependable team player with a successful record of work attendance
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to reach, lift, bend, and carry heavy objects
• Must adhere to Buddy’s uniform policy and standards at all times
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
