Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner upon arrival.
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table flow and optimal guest experience.
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus while communicating any relevant information to service staff.
- Coordinate with Servers and management to balance seating across dining rooms, patios, lounges, and events.
- Monitor dining room activity to anticipate seating needs and maintain smooth service flow.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand, entrance, and waiting areas.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and respond to guest inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
- Communicate guest preferences, special requests, and important notes to Servers and management.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of reservations, guest counts, and table availability.
- Support the setup and organization of dining areas prior to service and during special events.
- Provide support to service staff as needed to enhance the overall guest experience.
- Follow all club policies, sanitation standards, and safety guidelines.
- Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Maintain knowledge of club offerings, menus, and events to effectively assist and inform guests.
- Represent the club with professionalism and uphold all appearance and grooming standards.
- Assist with major club events as needed, including guest check-in, seating coordination, and flow management.
- Perform additional duties as requested by Bluejack leadership.
Requirements
- Prior serving experience in a high-end golf/country club or hospitality industry is a plus.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to work well independently, with attention to quality and detail.
- Enjoy working with members, guests, and children.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Service-oriented style with professional presentation skills.
- Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- High School diploma, GED certificate, or relevant work experience.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License and compliance with the driver safety policy requirements.
Schedule
Weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Schedule is flexible as business dictates.

- Regularly required to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of the shift.
- Work may be outdoors or indoors, in varying weather conditions including excessive heat, cold, rain, and sunshine.
- Regularly required to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to drive a golf cart to transport between areas of the 767-acre property safely.
