Host

Greeting and Service

• Greet all members warmly and enthusiastically
• Provide silverware and appropriate menus
• Advise of any daily specials
• Seat members in appropriate sections
• Equitably distribute among servers

Customer Interaction

• Answer the telephone and address any questions or reservations
• Handle closing of member transactions in restaurant and room services
• Close out register and balance out for shift

Host Stand Duties

• Set up host stand with menus and candy
• Check tables to ensure proper setup for each shift

Member Service

• Check member tables to ensure member service and food quality meet Belle Haven Country Club standards
• Notify a manager of any member complaints or issues immediately
• Use proper etiquette guidelines for seating members

Operational and Safety

• Practice and observe all safety rules and procedures
• Maintain and follow all F&B Operational Procedures

Technical Skills

• Accurately use various office software

Requirements

• Prior restaurant experience
• Availability to work Wednesdays and weekends
