Host

Duties

• Greet customers as they walk into the restaurant
• Help guests with reservations and guide them to their table
• Seating guests based on wait times and availability
• Provide guests with menus and answer initial questions
• Optimize seating at different tables to ensure even workload for wait staff
• Answer phones and schedule reservations for large parties
• Perform coat check duties as assigned
• Check on facilities such as restroom cleanliness
• Perform any other additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Positive attitude and aim to provide excellent communication skills
• Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and festive days
• Good physical condition to walk and stand during an entire shift

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of reservation systems
