Host - Astoria Long Island City

About the role

The role of the host is key because you make the first and last impression on our guests and we want it to be a great one. We are looking for energetic and outgoing people who are awesome at turning strangers into friends and making everyone feel welcome.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat all arriving guests in a friendly manner
• Acknowledge all departing guests in a friendly manner
• Assist in maintaining the overall guest flow of the restaurant
• Provide the guests' first and last impression

Qualifications

• No previous experience required—a great personality is a must
• Bring a warm and friendly personality; training will be provided
• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to 8 hours in length
• Must be able to lift 10 to 20 pounds
• Minimum age requirement: 18

Pay

Competitive Pay - $11.00 per hour plus tips. If your wage + tips does not equal at least minimum wage, your pay will be adjusted so you make at least minimum wage.
