About the role
SHARE! High School Exchange Program is seeking caring individuals and families to host international exchange students for a semester or a full school year.
Responsibilities
- Experience the world without leaving home by hosting an international high school student.
- Attend the local high school with the student.
- Share your own culture and traditions with the student.
- Provide a safe, welcoming environment for the student.
- Ensure the student's safety and well-being.
Requirements
- Students are 14–18 years old and come from various countries including France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, Japan, South Korea, China, Brazil, Mexico, and many others.
- Every SHARE! student speaks English.
- Students have comprehensive medical insurance.
- Students have spending money for personal expenses.
- Students are carefully screened and selected before arriving in the United States.

- Two-parent families (with or without children)
- Single parents
- Single adults
- Retired couples
- Empty nesters
