About the role

SHARE! High School Exchange Program is seeking caring individuals and families to host international exchange students for a semester or a full school year.

Responsibilities

• Experience the world without leaving home by opening your home to a high school exchange student.
• Host a student aged 14–18 from countries such as France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Poland, Japan, South Korea, China, Brazil, Mexico, and more.
• Attend your local high school with the exchange student.
• Share your own culture and traditions with the exchange student.
• Be part of a unique opportunity to impact a young person's life.

Requirements

• Two-parent families (with or without children), single parents, single adults, retired couples, or empty nesters are all welcome.
• Have a caring heart and a willingness to welcome an exchange student into your family.
• Have a stable home environment.

Qualifications

• Students must speak English.
• Each student is provided with comprehensive medical insurance.
• Students bring their own spending money for personal expenses.
• All students are carefully screened and selected before arriving in the United States.
