About the role
SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. Host families and adults are needed to host exchange students for a school year or semester.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe and welcoming home environment for an international student
- Attend orientation sessions with the student
- Help the student adjust to life in the new country
- Support the student’s academic and social development
- Ensure the student has access to healthcare and emergency services
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Willing to commit to hosting for one school year or semester
- Have a stable home environment
- Be able to provide transportation to and from school
- Have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Qualifications

- Open-mindedness and willingness to learn about different cultures
- Ability to handle unexpected situations
