Host an International High School Exchange Student (Kearney, NE)

About the role

SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. Host families and adults are needed to host exchange students for a school year or semester.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and welcoming environment for an international teen
• Attend the student's local high school classes
• Help the student adjust to life in a new country and culture
• Ensure the student has access to medical care if needed
• Support the student's academic and social development

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Willingness to provide a home and meals for the student
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Availability to host the student for a full school year or semester

• Have a stable living situation
• Be able to provide a safe and supportive environment
