Host an International High School Exchange Student (Hastings, NE)

About the role

SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. SHARE! students, aged 15-18 from various countries such as France, Germany, Spain, China, Brazil, Poland, Italy, Mexico, Japan, and South Korea, are seeking a family to host them for a school year or semester.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the exchange student.
• Attend the local high school with the exchange student.
• Ensure the exchange student has access to medical care and insurance.
• Help the exchange student adjust to life in the new country and culture.
• Share your home and family life with the exchange student.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have a stable home environment.
• Be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Willingness to provide a positive and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience living and working internationally is a plus.
• Ability to adapt to new cultures and lifestyles.
• Open-mindedness and willingness to learn about different cultures.
