Host an International High School Exchange Student (Fremont, NE)

About the role

SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. Host families and adults are needed to host exchange students for a school year or semester.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and welcoming home environment for an international student
• Attend orientation sessions with the student
• Help the student adjust to life in the new country
• Ensure the student has access to healthcare and emergency services
• Encourage the student to participate in community activities
• Support the student in their academic and social development

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Willingness to commit to hosting for one school year or semester
• Ability to provide a safe and comfortable living space
• Availability to attend orientation sessions
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
