Host an International High School Exchange Student (Florence, KY)

About the role

SHARE! Your Heart & Home with a high school exchange student. Host families and adults are needed to host exchange students for a school year or semester.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and welcoming home environment for an international student.
• Attend orientation sessions with the exchange student.
• Help the exchange student adjust to life in the new country and culture.
• Ensure the exchange student attends their host family's local high school.
• Support the exchange student with personal expenses and activities.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Willingness to provide a safe and welcoming home environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Availability to host the exchange student for a school year or semester.

Qualifications

• Experience living and working internationally is a plus.
• Open-mindedness and cultural sensitivity.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate the exchange student's needs.
